CAM wins New BIDs Contract
We are delighted to announce that we have won a brand new contract in Littlehampton to deliver the next Phase of the BID development work for the town centre.
The purpose of the project is to research and produce information to provide Littlehampton Town Centre traders, landlords and property owners with information to allow them to make an informed decision on whether to take forward a BID for the Town Centre.
Littlehampton Town Centre Action Group had tasked CAM to carry out an initial feasibility study to consider whether or not there would be interest in taking a BID forward. Following this local Traders have requested that more information be provided to enable them to make a more informed decision on whether a BID is suitable.
This Study includes the following elements:
• Development of an up-to-date database of businesses in the BID area
• Identification of issues in the Town Centre that require one-off or ongoing funding
• Analysis of the rateable value of the properties in the Town Centre
• Estimate of revenue that could potentially be raised by a BID
• A general indication of support for the concept of a BID in the Town Centre
• An information pack providing details of the BID background, requirements of local businesses and the Littlehampton BID Scheme, process, survey information and next steps that can be distributed to local Traders, landlords and property owners.
• Meetings with relevant Arun DC officers, and other officials.
• Assessment of the willingness of individuals from businesses in the Town Centre to be involved in the Littlehampton BID Board.
