This year we have published two magazine's for the Myton Hospice's, one for the Hospice in Coventry and one for the hospice's in Warwick and Rugby.
The Myton Hospices aim to provide Specialist Palliative Care of the highest quality for adult patients with advanced progressive life limiting illness, taking into account their medical, physical, cultural, psychological, spiritual and social needs in a non judgmental way with love, respect
and humour in a safe homely environment.

Duchess of Kent Hospice's Annual Fundraing Magazine 09

This is the firs issue of the Duchess of Kent House Hospice's annual fundraising magazine 2009!
Designed as a full-service hospice, Duchess of Kent House now has 16 in-patient beds, day therapy facilities, out-patients and a Bereavement Service. In the last 15 years over 12,000 patients have been treated and cared-for by the hospice team. This care continues after death for those relatives who wish it through the Bereavement service. All care is provided free of charge, according to need. As with all parts of the National Health Service there is never enough money to pay for all aspects of what we technically call “specialist palliative” care.

St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospices is an independent local charity which in its 27 years, has grown to become the premier supplier of palliative care across Lincolnshire. From its humble beginnings of just four beds, the Hospice has developed its range of services and now cares for up to 1,500 patients at any one time.

The Royal West Sussex NHS Trust, St Richard's Hospital at Chichester, is a modern acute NHS Trust that provides high quality health care for its community.
St Richard's Hospital has 430 beds and provides a full range of general acute services, medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, trauma, paediatrics, obstetrics and accident and emergency (A&E). It also has a purpose built NHS Treatment Centre on site which offers safe, fast, pre-booked day and short stay surgery and diagnostic procedures.

St Raphaels Hospice Magazine 2009

St Raphael's Hospice relies heavily upon voluntary contributions and depends upon the generosity of the local community to continue providing a high quality of care. It costs more than 40,000 a week to keep the Hospice running. More than 80% of income is spent on direct patient care, including medical and nursing salaries. We receive a grant of about 34% of the total cost from MSW Health Authority, but the rest must be raised from donations and fundraising activities.
A safe and reassuring lifeline; a service that is free of charge to all of our community.

This is St Barnabas hospices fundraising magazine we have just produced to help them raise money for there building a dream appeal! This magazine is to aid them in raising a much needed extra 4 million pounds to cover the cost of the new hospice site in Titnore Lane.
Heart of Kent Hospice magazine 2009

The provide in-patient care for up to 12 people at any one time. Their Community Team provides much needed support and advice to patients in their homes, whilst others benefit from the Day Therapy service. They also have a Family Services team who can help people talk through their problems in a safe and confidential way. A range of complementary therapies is also available. This is their fundraising magazine we have produced to help them raise there profile across there local community.
Chestnut Tree House Magazine 2009

Chestnut Tree House does not receive any Government Funding and will cost between £1.5 and £1.75 million per year to run. The House relies totally on the support and voluntary donations from the community. We produce this magazine for them each year to aid in their fundraising efforts here is the latest edition.

Founded in 1919 they have a long and proud history providing the highest level of multi-disciplinary care to their residents. They are passionate about helping residents maximize their ability and achieve their full potential with as much independence as possible, whilst ensuring they respect their privacy, dignity and rights. Their residents are from varied backgrounds, drawn from across the Royal Navy, the Army and the Royal Air Force and are aged from 23 to 97.
St Luke's Hospice (Plymouth)

When faced with the reality of having an incurable illness, you need the best care possible. St Luke's Hospice Plymouth provides that care to hundreds of people a year from throughout the South West of Devon and the South East of Cornwall. The care is not just medical and nursing, but incorporates practical, financial, emotional and spiritual support as well. Patients can receive this care as an outpatient, by visiting the Day Hospice or by a stay at the Hospice, which normally lasts between one and two weeks. The majority of these stays are for those looking to have their symptoms controlled so they can return home to a higher quality of life.
Harlington Hospice

Prospect Hospice, Swindon

Prospect Hospice brings care to patients living with life-limiting illnesses in Swindon, Marlborough and north-east Wiltshire, and has done since 1980. Back then, theirs was a home-based nursing service for the dying in our local community. Today Prospect staff care for people in many ways, and at different stages of their illness.

The Myton Hospices – A Special Kind of Care.
For over 25 years the Myton Hospice has been the only provider of in-patient hospice care within Warwickshire and Coventry, managing a 24 bed in patient unit in Warwick with further day care centres in Warwick and Rugby. In 2007 building started on an additional Myton Hospice to be based in Coventry which will provide a further 20 beds and another much needed day hospice within the City. In 2007 Myton offered over 10,000 days of care to its patients, nearly 7,000 bed days and over 3000 day care visits and when the Coventry Myton Hospice opens in 2009 these figures will nearly double. One of our newest Hospice clients, St Raphael's Hospice is an inspiring place, offering care and support in South West London.
The Hospice cares for nearly 900 patients a year. With 14 inpatient beds and 100 staff, St Raphael's draws on the pastoral and spiritual traditions of the Daughters of the Cross in order to provide inpatient and day care for patients requiring symptom control, respite and terminal care.
